Due to new laws which changed in 2012 it is now not possible to create any new second homes. However it is still possible to purchase chalets and apartments as second homes as long as they are existing before March 2012. It is possible to purchase property in a new project which is classed as a warm-bed and thus must be placed on the rental market. This will ensure that you have not only a property but you will also recieve a good return from rental.
